Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract position is seeking three licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide maternity leave coverage within an elementary school setting in the Anoka area near Andover, MN. The roles offer part-time hours, Monday through Friday, with virtual work options available to qualified candidates.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Elementary schools in the Anoka region, including Brooklyn Center, Champlin Park, and Blaine
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Duration and Caseload Availability:
- December 15 to March 23 20% virtual caseload (Brooklyn Center elementary)
- Early/mid-January to early/mid-April 40% virtual caseload (Champlin Park elementary)
- January 28 to March 16 20% virtual caseload (Blaine elementary)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid MN Tier 3 or 4 Education Certificate
- SLP credentials with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Must not be an SLP Assistant (SLPA) only licensed SLPs and Clinical Fellows considered
- For virtual candidates, current Minnesota licensure and compliance with the states 40-hour weekly work limit law
- Availability to take on one or more maternity leave caseloads is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication development
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
